Woman Accuses Blinkit Delivery Driver of Inappropriate Behaviour: A woman is gaining attention on the social media platform due to a controversial reason after accusing a Blinkit delivery driver of his inappropriate behaviour with her. She accused the Blinkit delivery driver of touching her inappropriately.

She took to her social media handle X and shared a video of the same. Sharing the video, she claimed that the driver touched her chest while handing over a parcel. Meanwhile, in another tweet, she claimed that she had to place the parcel in front of her to avoid any further unwanted contact.

In the video shared on the social media platform, the agent can be seen in a Blinkit's yellow uniform, and handing over a parcel to her and taking payment. While returning the change, he seems to touch the woman's chest. After the incident, the woman quickly took to her social media handle to express her frustation.

What she wrote on social media?

Sharing the video on X, she wrote, "This is what happened with me today while ordering from Blinkit. The delivery guy asked for my address again and then touched me inappropriately. This is NOT acceptable. @letsblinkit please take strict action. #Harassment #Safety @letsblinkit ...is women safety a joke in India?"

She further also stated that Blinkit only took action against the delivery driver once she gave the proof of the incident. As per her, Blinkit initially didn't hear her verbal complaint. Later, when she shared the video proof, the company terminated the driver's contract. 

Blinkit's reponse

Blinkit in its reponse wrote, "Hi, we appreciate your time over the phone. We're truly sorry for the incident and understand how upsetting this must be. Please be assured that the necessary actions have been taken as discussed. Feel free to DM us for any further questions or support."

The incident took serious turn when Mumbai police reacted to her tweet and wrote, "We have followed you. Please share your contact details in DM."

The issue created much controversy on the social media platform as a user wrote, "Yes, it can be clearly seen he deliberately brought his hand close to your upper body and touched you inappropriately. You flinching can be seen. You're lucky or well prepared camera wise .. without this recording it would be hard to pin his crime. Take it up strongly."
